What is the difference with trail running socks?
These socks contain a higher percentage of merino wool, which provides greater density and insulation. Unlike trail running socks, the fit doesn't need to be as tight, as there's no risk of movement in cycling shoes. They also have a higher shaft, ideal for protection while cycling.
Why use merino wool?
Merino wool is distinguished by the fineness of its fibers (16-24 microns), which can form tiny air pockets that provide thermal insulation in cold climates and help dissipate excess heat in warm conditions. This material can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet, which improves breathability. Moreover, thanks to its natural keratin, it prevents bacterial growth and unpleasant odors.
The combination of merino wool and polypropylene provides a more dynamic fit, as the materials are lightweight and stretchy.

Where are they made?
They are made in northern Spain. This doesn't necessarily mean they're better than those from China, but it does make them more sustainable and environmentally friendly, and it also contributes to local economic development.
